Our Story

Hello friends,
Engeika was originally established in 1984 as a fountain pen shop by Taizo Okagaki, who later went on to develop the Wancher brand. In 2018, Engeika closed down to allow more focus on the creation and growth of Wancher fountain pens. 
Now with a renewed vision for the future we are now bring back Engeika. While fountain pens remain an important part of our heritage, the goal is to go beyond that and introduce finely and carefully crafted vintage treasures from Japan.
